This course is designed by an endodontist for endodontists and their unique treatment environments. The lecture begins with a literature review and history of the materials commonly being used. Regardless of the technique being employed to fill, there are protocols for correct canal preparation. We'll cover those in depth with an eye toward making the case carrier placement ready. The clinical portion of the course follows with participants obturating prepared canals in extracted teeth using solid core carriers as well as preparing post spaces and retrieving obturators from previously filled canals. Clinicians will evaluate their progress and results using digital radiography, enacting refinements of their technique as needed. The course closes with an opportunity for group discussion and a question/answer period.
